Are you moving YOUR body on a regular basis?
"Movement is LIFE".
Did you know an average villager in 1800s walked up to 30,000 steps a day, while these days, we celebrate 5,000 steps?! Things have changed around here due to more and more people driving everywhere, not taking public transport, ordering everything online etc.
However, moving and SWEATING are so important for the body especially for physical and mental health.
In this blog, I'm going to share some of my favorite exercises to get you moving!
1) Walking - very underrated form of exercise. Walking after meals for 10-15 minutes can help stabilize blood sugar, help with balancing hormones and lower insulin levels. The goal should be to walk AT LEAST 10,000 steps a day preferably in nature.
2) Visiting the SAUNA - it doesn't have to be freezing cold outside to start using the sauna on a regular basis. Saunas are incredible for detoxification purposes and eliminating toxins from the body.
Moving our bodies is also very important for production of serotonin! People that move their bodies on a daily basis are known to be much happier and satisfied in life.
